Great article, but you should edit out everything on MeWe. It in no way works with the blockchain nor do they claim to. It also has fairly strict restrictions on free speech and poor privacy policy. Gab is the better alternative there. Everything else was pretty accurate. Do note that Steem is the underlying network for several of the apps you listed and that Steemit is one of the interfaces and no way associated with the people behind Steem. They are all separate interfaces interacting with one account under one shared network. Unfortunately though Steem has lost like half its active users in the past year. Minds is a good bet.
